We're excited to announce the biggest update to Todolet yet! Version 2.0 brings a completely refreshed experience while keeping everything private and local.

What's new:

• Desktop sidebar – A new layout for larger screens with quick access to all your lists
• Share lists via link – Generate a shareable URL and send your tasks to anyone via WhatsApp, Email, or Messenger
• Drag and drop – Reorder tasks by dragging them
• Subtasks – Start a task with - to indent it under the previous task
• Better filters – See task counts on All, Active, and Done buttons
• Keyboard shortcuts – Ctrl+K to focus, Ctrl+D to toggle theme

As always, your data stays on your device. No accounts, no tracking, no cloud required.

One of the most requested features is finally here: list sharing.

We built it differently than most apps. Instead of uploading your tasks to our servers, we encode them directly into a URL. When someone opens your link, the tasks are decoded in their browser and imported into their local Todolet.

How it works:

• Click "Share List" in the sidebar (desktop) or share section (mobile)
• Copy the generated link or send it directly via WhatsApp, Email, or Messenger
• The recipient sees a preview and clicks "Import" to add the tasks

Your tasks never touch our servers. True privacy-first sharing.

Every task manager wants your data. They want to sync it, analyse it, and lock you into their ecosystem. We think that's wrong.

Todolet is different. Your tasks live in your browser's local storage. We don't have accounts, we don't have servers storing your data, and we definitely don't have AI reading your todo list.

It's just a simple, fast, private way to track what you need to do.
