Privacy Policy

Last updated: 25 March 2026
The short version: Todolet does not collect, store, transmit or share any of your personal data or task data. Your tasks live on your device and nowhere else. We have no servers receiving your task content, no analytics tracking your behaviour, and no advertising partners receiving your information.

1. Who we are

Todolet is a task management application developed and operated by Chris Naylor, based in County Durham, United Kingdom. If you have any questions about this policy, you can contact us at hello@todolet.app.

2. What data we collect

Todolet collects no personal data whatsoever. Specifically:

3. Where your data is stored

All tasks you create in Todolet are stored exclusively on your own device using your device's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to any server operated by Todolet or any third party.

If you uninstall the app, your task data will be permanently deleted from your device. We have no copy of it and cannot recover it.

4. The global task counter

Todolet displays a global count of tasks created worldwide. When you add a task, a single number (the count) is incremented on a secure server. No task content, no device information, and no personal data is transmitted as part of this process. The only information sent is a signal that one new task has been created — nothing more.

This counter is operated via Supabase, a third-party infrastructure provider. You can review Supabase's privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy.

5. Third-party services

Todolet uses the following third-party services:

We do not use any advertising networks, analytics platforms, crash reporters, or data brokers.

6. Children's privacy

Todolet does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under the age of 13. As we collect no personal data at all, Todolet is safe for use by people of all ages.

7. Your rights (UK GDPR)

As we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete under UK GDPR. However, if you have any concerns, you are welcome to contact us at hello@todolet.app and we will respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

8. Changes to this policy

If we make any material changes to this privacy policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
