Terms of Service

Last updated: 25 March 2026
The short version: Todolet is a free, simple task manager. Use it to manage your tasks. Don't misuse it. We provide it as-is and aren't liable if something goes wrong. That's about it.

1. Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using Todolet ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

2. About Todolet

Todolet is a free task management application developed and operated by Chris Naylor, County Durham, United Kingdom. The app allows users to create, manage, and complete personal tasks stored locally on their device.

3. Use of the app

Todolet is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others.

You must not:

4. Intellectual property

The Todolet name, logo, wordmark, and all associated branding are the property of Chris Naylor. All rights are reserved. You may not use the Todolet name or branding without prior written permission.

The content of tasks you create belongs entirely to you. As stated in our Privacy Policy, we have no access to your task content whatsoever.

5. The global task counter

Todolet displays an anonymised global count of tasks created by all users. By using the app and adding tasks, you agree to this anonymous count being incremented. No personal data or task content is transmitted as part of this process. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

Todolet is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

We do not warrant that your task data will never be lost. As your data is stored locally on your device, we strongly recommend maintaining your own backups if your tasks are important to you.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chris Naylor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Todolet — including any loss of data.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the app shall not exceed £0, as Todolet is provided free of charge.

8. Updates and availability

We may update, modify, or discontinue Todolet at any time without notice. We are not obligated to provide ongoing support, updates, or maintenance. We reserve the right to withdraw the app from distribution platforms at any time.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will indicate the date of the most recent revision at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
