Todolet stores your task data locally in your browser's localStorage. This means:

• Clearing your browser data will delete your tasks
• Your data does not sync between devices unless you use the share/import feature
• We are not responsible for any data loss

We strongly recommend using the Export feature regularly to back up your data.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, logo, and content, is owned by Todolet and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service without our written permission.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Todolet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

• Analytics data: We may use privacy-focused analytics (such as Netlify Analytics or similar) to understand how visitors use our site. This may include aggregated, non-personal data such as page views, referring sites, and general geographic regions. This data cannot identify individual users.
• Server logs: Our hosting provider may collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. These logs are used for security and performance purposes and are automatically deleted after a short period.

4. How Your Data is Stored

All task data you create in Todolet is stored locally in your browser using localStorage. This data:

• Never leaves your device unless you explicitly share or export it
• Is not accessible to us or any third party
• Can be deleted by clearing your browser data
• Does not sync between devices or browsers

5. Sharing Lists

When you use the "Share List" feature, your task data is encoded into a URL. This data is not sent to our servers – it exists only in the link itself. Anyone with the link can decode and view the shared tasks. Please be mindful of what you share.

The Service may use the following third-party services:

• Netlify: Our hosting provider. Subject to Netlify's Privacy Policy.

We do not use advertising networks, social media trackers, or any services that profile users.

• Right of access: You can request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
